About Will

With a development background spanning from Flight Simulation, Web, Mobile, AAA Game Development, & Live Services, Will has led project & design decisions on various projects. Having published interactive experiences while working in various (10+) game engines, he knows how to support a project from pre-production to launch, both in technical & design needs.

 

Having a passion for the user’s experience, he has served as a User Experience Researcher on various Indie & AAA projects through the Full Sail User Experience Center.

 

Will was a Game Designer at Volition, creating combat classes, missions, & supporting player progression & economy in their Third-Person, Action Sandbox games.

Using his skills to embody the core principles of EA, Will previously acted as a Game Designer for Mako Studios, EA Mobile's Sports Division. He helped lead the vision of features and live services, synthesizing a player-first perspective with monetization strategies to support the business goals.

In 2021, Hi-Rez Studios provided Will the opportunity to support various elements of game design for Rogue Company, with a specific passion for the combat kit designs of the Rogues. Weapons, abilities, gadgets, melee options, and perks were all designed & iterated upon in a normal day.

In the spring of 2022, Will took a Sabbatical from game development for about 14 weeks. Upon return, he joined Paddle Creek Games as a Senior Game Designer, leading the design efforts for the studio's upcoming Survival MMO, Fractured Veil.

Will is now at ZeniMax Online Studios as a Senior Systems Designer on The Elder Scrolls Online.
